Gentleman, there's no better time to wear your ascots than now!
Nominated for Best Picture at the 2015 Oscars, Selma is a feature film about the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches led by Martin Luther King, Jr. One of the movie's poignant scenes shows Coretta as she lovingly ties Dr. King's ascot for him; an intimate depiction of the American icons' affection for each other.
An article written by Sophia Markoulakis in the San Francisco Chronicle features Ceravelo as one of its Oscar-worthy street looks. She juxtaposes the contemporary ascot with the quiet elegance and storied sleekness of 1960 gentlemen's style.
