Spring Into Color with Ceravelo Ascots
Posted on 12 April 2013
We’ve been busy the past few weeks at Ceravelo, creating, refining and styling our new looks for Spring.
Here’s a Sneak Peak from our most recent photo shoot . . .
What’s Trending in Men’s Fashion for Spring 2013
Our favorite trend for Spring is to take a familiar print and tweak it, like the asymmetrical pattern of this polka dot print shirt. Designers are changing up the size, scale and pattern to create unexpected presentations of polka dots, plaids and camouflage prints for Spring. Another trend seen here – saturated hues of blues and oranges.
GQ’s style guide for Spring started off with this suggestion: “First Things First: Let Your Tie Bloom.” Here we are letting our tie (and our lapel) bloom, with the unexpected texture of the tie balancing the crisp white shirt and the vibrant hue of the jacket.
Another piece of GQ style advice for Spring: “Rethink Pink.” Dusty, bleached out versions of saturated red hues are perfect for pairing with cool gray tones. Another major trend is pairing casual loafers with more formal attire.
Let’s see here . . . lightweight summer suits in shades of gray? Check. Combining a polo with a sharply tailored jacket for a dressed-up casual look? Check. Pairing a gray suit with an unexpected shade of pink? Check. Accents of multi-colored stripes? Check.
The classic nautical look has a very sharp, modern edge for Spring. This look combines an iconic navy striped tee with a tailored navy jacket and polished accessories.
